Construction

I talk a lot about construction drawing, in and out of my classroom. I always enjoy when i get to see the construction part of a drawing, not just the pretty finish. So i thought i'd post some construction drawing on a pin up i'm working on, for fun. I'll post all of the stages.

The Infamous JLJ

The honor of drawing my editors next business card portrait was bestowed upon me. These are the pencils. I hope i represented :) Chris Schweizer (See The curious Old Library Link) drew the previous one, so i have big shoes to fill. James Lucas Jones is now a Martian Colonist :)

A lot, a lot going on for me now. Most of which will keep this blog active. So, here' some doodles to kick it off.

I've been buys doing some freelance ink work. It looks like i'll be locked down for another couple of weeks. Sorry for the lack of posts! I'll resume soon.
