Style?

I think i'm getting closer to the "look" of Blood Red. I'm returning to some of my strengths, things i haven'd done in a while. I've spent a lot of time analzying form and value, learning. That has made me jump around in my work, trying to aplly what ive learned. I think this image is the first step towards combining the old and the new. If it works, i'll be a happy sonnabich, if not...fuggit. The works of Mignola, Murakami, Risso, Cory Walker, and Gabriel Ba have been helping me on this journey. Gotta make it work.

The ATOMIZER!

I designed this weapon to be the newest in cutting edge earth martian technology. It needs a few tweaks, but the idea is there. A blast of gamma blob, instant lobotomy. I'm startng to figure out a style for the book, looking at Mignola, Murakami, Risso and a few others. I think i'm returning to some of my strengths that ive ventured away from. I'll post an image soon.

Back in Action

Designs for the colonists maks, for Blood Red. The teaching job nailed me to wall the past few weeks. Now i'm back in action, diving into this book with no looking back. So the next year or so should be pretty busy.

Two Books

I started this blog to catalog the creation of two books. BOB Rocket (For Image) and Blood Red (For Oni Press.) These two books are very much dream projects for me.
